Stories of Emotional GranularitY
A podcast Exploring the diversity of human experience

Grounded
When the flow of life puts everything up in the air, we seek connection with solid foundations.

Season 4 of Stories of Emotional Granularity coming Soon
In this season, we will confront anger, but also reflect on the more vulnerable emotion of bewilderment. We will hear from people coping with imposter syndrome and the playful feeling of humor. We will discuss the emotions of humble humanity, confront guilt and anger, jealousy and envy. We will face the loss of feeling bereft. We will address our grief, and come to the emotion of the embrace of death even as we continue to live.

Anxiety
Anxiety is as true as happiness. Anxiety is inescapable. Anxiety does not go away if we stop talking about it. What’s more, in our time, anxiety is growing. It is spreading like the darkness of winter.

Burnout
To meaningfully discuss the feeling of being burned out, it is necessary for us to acknowledge that often, our lives aren’t as lovely and under control as we often like to pretend. Burnout happens when we can no longer maintain the façade of life as it’s supposed to be, and the image we project for others to see falters.

Arrived
The feeling that one has arrived is an emotion that’s situated within the narrative arc of a journey. First, there was a departure. Then, there was travel, a passage away from the point of departure. Arrival is the emotion that comes when it seems that this journey has come to its completion.

Arbejdsglaede
There’s no formula for arbejdsglaede that’s going to work for everyone, because different people have different kinds of work that requires different skills and different forms of dedication.

Trust
Trust is the emotion of enduring truth. This episode of Stories of Emotional Granularity features insights into trust from Betti Rooted Lionheart, Kristen Donnelly, Robin Hafitz, Shannon Haskins, and Marie Thouin.
